- Why did you decide to become a massage therapist?
At a very young age, being someone that helped make others feel better came naturally. When my grandfather got sick and was in hospice care, I went to visit him. Other family members informed me that he was not the same and was unable to converse with anyone. When I went to his bedside, I started to massage his right hand and for the first time in a long time he smiled THE BIGGEST SMILE and squeezed my hand. It was at that moment I realized how powerful and how healing touch was. This is what made me want to heal others through the power of massage therapy.
